This morning I saw this movie @Fox Movie Channel. I love,love watching classic movies and so does my brother and lil' sis coz' our Poppa Louie loves watching old movies.

Jason (William Holden) is a World War II veteran going to college on the GI Bill in the hope of bettering himself. He has recently married his sweetheart, Peggy (Jeanne Crain), who has learned that they're having a baby. However, money is tight for the young couple, and inexpensive housing is at a premium in the post-war boom times. Peggy meets Professor Henry Barnes (Edmund Gwenn), an instructor at the college who lives alone in a huge house. Barnes is convinced that the best years of his life are over, that he has no purpose in life, and that our culture has sacrificed its highest ideals. But Peggy convinces Prof. Barnes to let her and Jason stay in his attic. As the newlyweds try to turn the cobwebbed space into a home, the professor gets to know his tenants better, and their enthusiastic optimism rubs off on him, giving him a sense that there are things left to be accomplished and reasons to go on

Mom & Daughter bonding time...

Since I am off a couple of days...shared a bonding time with Mommy today. Here are some pictures to remember it by...

1. 
   Attended a HOME show in Cow Palace for only 10 minutes in Cow Palace which is only a 5 minutes from our house. There wasn't too many to see but I took a pic of this table.
2. 
   Visited Poppa Louie at the cemetery...took a pic of our shadow.
3. 
   Just a quote I picked out in the internet for my momsy.
4. 
   $11.99 Lunch with my mommy Steak and Skewered Shrimp and Endless Salad Buffet for the two of us. I had the Chicken Noodle soup.

We also went to Daiso in Serramonte which Mom loved becoz' she was able to buy a wooden cane for only $3 bucks! Then went to Target to buy some snacks for me.

Family Day

Our aunt and cousin slept over at our house. For dinner we had Monggo (made by my love) along with tuyo that we bought @Superstar. It was so yummy. We also had Italian rum cake that we bought in Safeway along with Ben & Jerry's Marzipan ice cream and caramel cone.

After dinner we went to Uncle Ding and Aunt Lerma's place in Colma. It's a beautiful town home! Here is a picture from that night. WE spent at least an hour there just making kuwento.

Happy 09/09/09!!

Not only it's 09/09/09 today but it's the birthday of my two favorite lil' people in my life! Boy, they are also darn cute!!!

1. This is Kyle George today he celebrates his 2nd birthday!!!
2. This little girl turned 4 today also!!

Today 09/09/09 @9:09am I was checking in patients for Cardiology clinic...I bought one quick pick of Super Lotto just in case!! He He. I also bought 2 mini albums again from France coz' I loved scrapping  on her mini album kits  just have to add the pictures and embellies and voila you are done!

I stumbled on these cute dollar origami by Won Park....my fave of course!

My 40 mini album

I wanted to show you a mini album I have made for my recent 40th birthday outing along with my sister, Mary Ann & sis in-law, Raquel and of course, my best friend, Dollace. Our other best friend, Flo could not make it but we share with her our joys through this mini album that I made. I have bought this awesome mini album kit from France and this is her etsy. I can't wait for the mini albums that she will be coming out tomorrow on her etsy update  hopefully I can buy at least 2. I have bought 3 in total but haven't finished the other two,yet.  I was inspired to finish this mini album becoz' of Lacy.  She did a fabulous job making her summer mini album.

Thank you, France for making such beautiful mini album kits that you can totally work and be inspired with. I am sold! Here is the album.
