PERFECT MOMENTS

Raquel & Morris Baby Shower

Even though,it's a Sunday (next day is work day) and it's a 2 hour drive from the City. We went to Sacramento to share in the joy of Raquel and Morris' upcoming arrival of their baby boy. We love this cousin. He is such a sweet man and we are so glad that he found a nice girl to be with him forever, Raquel. I immediately liked her the first time I met.  She is due to have the baby on May 27.  They live in Sacramento, our cousins have been their forever. This is in their home. My hubby, my cute love is the one who drove. I am so thankful for my husband who is always there for me but sometimes he can be maarte!

 

Food all made by my auntie Norma except for the bbq wings made/marinated by Uncle Ed.

My cousin,Maria who I haven't seen in 10 years I would take it. Along with our nieces, Kaylee and Isabelle (who was one of the flower girls for my sister's wedding)

She is so darn cute!! Anthony and May's youngest kid--they asked me to be one of the godparents.

My love trying out my cousin Anthony's recipe for okoy....omg I am so inlove with okoy so yummy! He used the sweet white potato, togi, shrimp for the top. For the batter...flour, corn starch, water and achuete, salt and pepper to taste and make the batter like a pancake consistency. Then you only put a little batter on the veggies and then fry on a very hot, lotsa oil and then one shrimp on top. Then for the dip is vinegar, garlic and S&P.

Jeanne and her daughter, my cousin Joseph's wife. They are back in CA, they used to live in Colorado.

I love the diaper cake that Jeanne made for Raquel. I won one of the games that we were playing. You have 10 pins that you have drop in the bucket to beat Raquel's score of 1:30. I beat everyone at the score of 1:03! It was so hard to do. I won a gray bag with a pillow, and make up bag!

Isabelle is 9 years old now...

Uncle Eddie bbqing...it was a hot weather but where he is there is a lot of breeze thank goodness for the trees that makes it breezy. It's a very nice neighborhood. Quiet naman.

Diaper Cake

Lani, You will be proud of me coz' I made my First Diaper Cake for my friend's baby shower last Friday w/c actually had her baby this sunday, 9/14. I loved making this coz' it was so fun!

Anita's Baby Shower

Anita's Baby Shower and Manny Pacquiao's vs Morales. Of course, the Pac-Man won!! The party was held @Anita&Anmar's home in Lausanne, Daly City. Everyone was screaming everytime Manny gets hit. Anita was carrying baby, Martin Joseph.

Mayalyn's Baby Shower

May's Baby Shower

The party was held in May's and Edwin new home (w/c they are renting) they live in Daly City. This is a much nicer house coz' it' s more spacious. We picked up John (w/c we usually do whenever there is a get together w/Nelson's friends).  I bought May's gift in Target coz' that's where she registered. I bought her an organizer and a  head support, Nelson is one of the godfathers. Parking was so hard in their neighborhood, we had to go up a little bit in order to find parking. We even saw Aisa and Cookie already there, they did not want to go in yet coz' they were shy. Aisa looked good coz' her hair is longer and she lost weight (she has a new man in her life!! Yay! She is such a special girl and she deserves the best).

Elaine (Edwin's sister) was there and she is living here permanently they used to live in LA. May is 8 months pregnant na pala and her expected due date is 9/14 (same birthdate w/Mel). There was  a lot of food. We all went downstairs coz' it was crowded upstairs. A few minutes later, Anmar and Anita came with the 2 kiddies (Anita is 4 months pregnant-groan mas naunahan kami!) Of course, the boys had fun reminiscing about the past and they keep telling the same stories over and over and they never got tired of it. They like reminiscing about high school and old GF (they tease John a lot about Katherine-who we finally saw in the picture). We went upstairs to do Karaoke there. My love sang so much-HE loves it. He even sang our theme song (When you say nothing at all). He was looking at me and giving our little winks to each other. How sweet ano? It's always FUN naman when we hang out w/his friends. This Friday we will be going to ICHIBAN to just kick back and enjoy being w/each other before May will have her baby. We think she will have a baby girl. We probably left their house around 11 PM na. Roland (Chairman-was also there). The boys were the one packing their to-go w/c was so funny! Coz' usually it's the girls who are doing that but it was them. They are so hilarious. My LOVE is so kal0g silang dalwa ni John ang life of the party.
