Nelson and I donated money to American Red Cross for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Jerome's Baptismal
Nelson had to work from 9 AM to 2PM so he couldn't go with me to the Baptismal at St. Elizabeth's but will just meet us at the Reception. Auntie Merly, Unc Arnold and April picked me up at home. We went to St. Elizabeth ( 449 Holyoke St. San Francisco, CA) around 12:3o PM na and we were able to attend the mass w/c was still going on. Unc Ding, Aunt Lerma, Jerome and Lorraine were there already and so was Unc Tony, Aunt Rose and Andrew. The mass ended promptly at 1PM. Maritess (she is one of the ninangs and Nelson's friend, she is a dentist from Stockton-she is so down to earth and you wouldn't even think she is a doctor), came with her family. All the ninongs and ninangs had corsages to identify them. Here are the ninangs and ninongs in Alphabetical order:
Melissa D. Bartaan Kristoffer S. Agustin
Marylou M. Bolus Andrew C. Bolus
Kathleen D. Cochico Louis S. Caday
April Sarah B. Galang Benito J. King
Camille Anne S. Godoy Sonny D. Pobre
Dana Mae U. Lopez Dr. Bryan I. Santiago
Dr. Maria Theresa Oronce Bernard Viloria, Sr.
Actually, the only one that stood with the parents was Andrew and I. The rest of the ninong and ninangs just sat down. The priest was strict (he is vietnamese). Andrew and I stood up for 30 minutes my heels were killing me. Jerome did not even cry he was such a good baby (okay he cried for a few minutes that's becoz' we later found out that there was a pin stuck on his clothes-POOR baby). We took pictures and headed for the restaurant. I called my LOVE to meet us in the restaurant. Oh, Manang Remy and Manong Domeng along with Beverly was there (who took the picture for me coz' I couldn't do it myself coz' I had to stand in front of the altar along with the parents. Oh, by the way the daddy showed up.
The reception was held in Yet Wah Restaurant (5238 Diamond Heights Blvd. San Francisco, CA (415) 282-0788.) My Love just came in time! We sat down with Unc Tony and Aunt Rose. Later Auntie Mel and Kuya Paul came and sat down with us. There were 8 different kinds of food that they came out with. We had chinese chicken salad, potsticker, steamed rice, beef broccoli, roast duck w/pancake, black bean fish, bland shrimp soup, shrimp and orange chicken. And for dessert was the spicy cake, leche flan made by Aunt Lerma, cantaloupe and watermelon. After that we just went to Inda's place and went home afterwards. The next morning , Mom and Mary Ann and I went to Gilroy to go shopping (I bought 2 dresses and a blouse, plus my work shoes). There were tons of people and you had to fight for parking! We went home around 7:45 PM na. Bought a lot of stuff in Sanrio also.
