Natural disaster

The 8.9 earthquake in japan today was so scary and the tsunami that followed it even scarier. We just had that earthquake in new Zealand. What is the world coming to? Makes you think. I am praying for the people of japan.

Karate Kid

I can't believe that the 6:05 pm and 7:05 pm were sold out already so we just got the 8:15pm for the Karate kid. We had two hours to kill time but I told Nelson that we should just wait in line an hour before coz' I know that there will be a line going in and sure there was a long line almost going out of the theater. It was cold too coz' I was not wearing any jacket and I was developing a cold. When we got in there thank goodness we got a good seat coz' the theater was full!

There was even a cute little girl who was seated next to me her parents was a row from us coz' they had a big group probably. Anyways, Jaden Smith did such an awesome job! I love the story. Jackie Chan was also of course wonderful. They have such an awesome chemistry. Jaden will be a heartbreaker, I guess he is 12 yrs old already. His parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett was the one who produced the movie.

Waiting in line for the movie was totally worth it plus Nelson and I both liked it. Roland also watched it with his family but in the Daly city Theater while we went to Tanforan coz' I loved watching the movie there. The movie was about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

They will be missed...

Farrah Fawcett...Charlie's Angels girls...Her famous poster....I loved the movie that she made "Burning Bed" she did such a great job on that movie. I cried.

She died at the age of 62 battling Cancer. That was so sweet when Ryan O'neal married her again.

Then Michael Jackson. OMG, what a tragedy. I am so so sad. He was only 50 yrs. old and I do feel sorry on the things he had to endure when he was younger.
I love so many songs from him especially his love songs. I will lists some here as I think and research. They did a tribute of all the songs on the radio on 99.7.

Meeting up with a high school buddy

Shermie is one of my high school buddies that I hang out with during lunchtime along with other friend, Rowena and Ellen.  We met at the Sizzler in Daly city along with her husband and cute son.
Me and Shermie. I haven't seen her since 1997 where we attended a christening for our friend's daughter who is also my god daughter.
The happy family. I love how Anthony was saying instead of cheese when I press the camera "Home Depot" Shermie tells me that he loves going to Home depot he is only 5 yrs. old. Precious Huh!

The Before...

Here is a picture of our old 1/2 demolished kitchen ready for the new renovation. The kitchen/bath was finished last week and it turned out well. Thought I show you the before pictures first...you see how ugly it is. I guess in a way it was good that we waited awhile to do the kitchen/bath becoz' Mang Jess was so good in renovating our kitchen/bath, WE are so happy w/the result along w/my sister Mary Ann helping ME out in picking out the tiles, bath stuff, and especially the kitchen cabinets everybody loves it.

Tomorrow I will show you the finished results! Thanks for looking, hope everyone is doing well. Lani I got your Christmas card (LOVE it, so beautifully made!!) 2-3 weeks ago sorry haven't had a chance to do anything else w/all these kitchen/bath remodeling....and buying new furniture!

Mellow Yellow

Here is the picture of the newly painted house of ours. I, totally LOVE the color of the house becoz' just seeing it makes me happy. I wasn't a fan of the yellow color before but I warmed up to it. Remember how it looked, Sonja? With the grey color?

We also re-did the stairs going to the house w/the slate, I like it, too!

Yes, that is Koala all curled up, isn't she cute??? What do you notice about this picture hope you guys see it, except for Sonja becoz' you sent this to me!!! Thank you so much, girl! Totally LOVE it! Sonja took a picture of this cute Koala in San Diego when they took a trip here in the US.
