SF @night....

After spending time in the downtown, we decided to have a late dinner @Lucky Chances in Colma

Chillin' in DC

Daly city that is....in Crown Colony to be exact. My love and I chilled a little bit b4 going out to just look around. We went to Sports Authority and I was looking around for my boots. My love found me and got me my pressy! An UGG boots they didn't have a black one so I decided to go for the chocolate color. It was $139 with tax it came to be about $152. So expensive! WE decided to go to Stonestown, also. Lo and behold, they had a black one. After much thought and went back there the 2nd time to Nordstrom (same price) I got the black one and we even saw Elaine, Jade and EJ there.

We invited them to our house for late lunch of Nilagang baka and Fishballs. We even had Mais-Queso ice cream for our dessert. Around 6pm, Edwin and Miel came and brought Live Crabs which they ate except for me. We then headed to Starbucks around 8pm just to drink hot chocolate with the gang and then went to Sports Authority. Elaine bought Nelson his Spalding B-ball for christmas. Miel kinda hung out with me the whole time she is so cute and adorable and she loves her Tita Malou!

Christmas Tree picking

....with Elaine & Jade and EJ @the Steven's Christmas Tree lot in Foster City. Our tree is small but very cute and it costs us $30.99. $5 for the stand $2 for the netting and then the preservative is $2 bucks also but the tree smells so divine. This is our first fresh christmas tree.

Black Friday

.....shopping with Elaine & Jade minus EJ who was hangin' out with his dad. I love the floor lamp that we got in Ikea and also the $20 black coffee table that E&J gave us as a housewarming gift. We had dinner @ Pho Saigon in Foster city. I also loved the pumpkin pie from Whole foods.

This is the sofa bed we are going to get as soon as we save up some money to buy it.

Happy Birthday to my BFF,Elaine. Who happened  to turned a fabulous 40 but she looks like more in her 30's! She is currently celebrating her birthday @the RN740 resto with her SO. I just want to wish you all the blessings and happiness you so much desired.

Velvet cupcakes and Souffle

Spent time with Ms. E and JD in the AM to PM--first we went to Palo Alto just to look around and buy Red Velvet Cupcakes from Sprinkles. To me, it seems like their cupcake reduced in size (still $3.25) though. We had lunch first @a Japanese Restaurant near the Whole foods in Hillsdale. It was yummy!  Nelson made sinigang for our dinner and ate it @Jd Elaine's home...then we had dessert with Anmar & Anita in Intramuros. The bathroom there still creeps me out....ecckk.

   

 

@the Intramuros Restaurant now....having the Bibingka souffle and then a lot of appetizers....we had chips and salsa (there were 4 dipping sauces), garlic fries and tofu sisig.

@Starbucks now...having my caramel macchiatto....with the girls. This was @the Starbucks near the Ross in DC (near Serramonte).

     

Welcome back,Mai2&Edwin!

Actually, Elaine and Jade, Nelson and I just decided to just hang out. We were going to go picnic either in the beach or the park but laziness set in for Elaine. So we just decided to just eat out sa Whole Foods. Did I tell you that I love Whole Foods with a passion. It's such a cool store. Kinda expensive but I love their products and the way it's set up. Nelson liked their hot foods there. I had the Indian food and the yummy yogurt with the raisins, brown sugar,granola and mixed fruits. We headed to the little mall near Elaine's place. We just looked around the Old Navy store (nothing), Marshalls (I bought a Martha Stewart punch for only $3.99 and this was a big punch normally sells for $15 bucks!) and then to Bed Bath and Beyond. 

 

We decided to try the Oceanic spa for only $24 (first time user special) and it's a whole body massage actually, Nelson did not want to try it but finally relented after Elaine treated him to one. He loved it! I liked it, too coz' I almost fell asleep and I felt good afterwards.

We went to Ranch Market coz'  we bought the ingredients for the sinigang so we can cook it for our vacationer's who were coming back from San Diego (Mai2 & Edwin and the kidz')
 

Here is Jade BBQing at the front of their house, it was a very yummy chicken marinated by Elaine! It was a hit. The bbq ribs no one really ate it coz' I guess it was over cooked. 

Ms. Elaine hangin' out at their front steps...it was such a beautiful day to seat out there.

Outing @Fisherman's Wharf

After the 10 am mass @Epiphany...we decided to just go 2 Serramonte...nothing better to do and we already ate an early breakfast. I called Elaine and they wanted to go enjoy the day in the city. We decided to go to Fisherman's Wharf just to enjoy the beautiful spring day. 

As you can see the lovely sunshine shining on us...Jade took this pic with their new Nikon Coolpix camera (my next camera! It's like an SLR but smaller version and it takes awesome pics.)

Here is my luvvy eating his fried chicken which was so good and juicy.

I had the Shrimp salad sandwich...which is just ok...I did not finish it but the fries and coleslaw was good.

Me, at the Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice cream shop...I had the Mint Ice cream while Nelly had the vanilla.

Copenhagen Bakery

Happy 1st of May!! What a beautiful weather we are having right now but it's still kinda breezy. Mom and I went to Safeway first just to do some groceries...We hit the jackpot what I liked about Safeway today.

1. $1.99 Angel food cake...i love this!
2. Buy one get one!
3. Peach Ice cream from Breyers, $4.99 (on sale but b4 it was only $3.99)
4. Avocadoes (3 for 99 cents--that's a bargain!
5. Roast beef (which I am baking right now, one for the house, one for the boxing fight party later @Mai2 and Edwin's home)

Then Nelson and I met Elaine and Jade (whom we haven't seen in months) got together for breakfast @Copenhagen Bakery in Burlingame. I really like their breakfast choices here and they are so generous with their food. You order at the counter and pay then they will bring you the breakfast at your table. For the table you have to grab whatever is open. Here is a link to their breakfast MENU.

Elaine and Jade shared the Copenhagen special omelet and Nelson had the same plus a Belgian Waffle for him,also. He finished all of it,too!

Here he is...he was ready to pounced on the food but I told him...STOP gotta take a picture of him with his food and his food as you will see here in the bottom.

You see his hand with the Tabasco sauce he is ready...we were so hungry we arrived @the cafe around 10:30 am already.

And this is what I had....Danish crepe filled with strawberries and whip cream!

I love unique lights and chandeliers such as this one...inside the resto.

Wow oh wow...just looking at this pic is making me have a sugar shock. We did not order any dessert coz' we were so full na and then I had the sweet crepe for breakfast.
