Moving day for mai2 & Edwin

We helped Mai and Edwin move at their new apartment in Foster city called Beach Cove. I love their apartment! I helped Mai2 put away some of the groceries in the cupboard. All of the appliances were white and the apartment was newly painted. It's a 2 bedroom apartment for $1800 not including utilities. There is a lake behind the apartment complex. They have an outdoor swimming pool and a club house complete with a gym and a hall you can rent if you want to have a party. I have always loved Foster city because it's a very family oriented city. Before we headed to Foster city, Mai2 already had made Sinigang na pork for us to have dinner. We had pizza for snack after the boxes were moved by the boyz. The 3 lil' girls (Mica,Mielle and Madz') stayed with their Auntie Merle so we can move without the lil ladies bugging us.

JD's birthday

Celebrating Jade Daniel's birthday (impromptu surprise) @CHEVY'S near our place....with the couples macabebe gang. Love spending time with these kids. I just love spending time with everybody and eating, of course, is the best part! Of course, since the Chevy's is close to our place, we were the firsts one there. There wasn't too many people in the restaurant yet and we got the patio all to ourselves. They really also served us well and the manager even helped.

Just something to remember that we ate here in CHEVY'S and this looked good.

Anne marie ordered this Deep fried creamy vanilla Ice cream with cinnamon sugar coating.

Sopapillas: puffy tortilla "pillows" drizzled with honey and dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Served a la mode.

Banana Island

....wala lang just another excuse to have a group date night with the Macabebe Gang. Since Anmar & Anita, Elaine & Jade, Edwin has not eaten there yet, with the exception of Mai2 who have eaten there before and loved it we decided to eat there. My luv and I have eaten there @least 20 times coz' we liked it so much but we haven't been in awhile so it's a good excuse to eat there again. We all met each other @7pm. When my love and I were parking in the parking structure in the Westlake area, we saw a Lexus in the corner with the whole back of the bumper dismantled. Whomever bumped that car did not even leave a note and must've been going really fast. Sheesh, people are so bad. Feel sorry for that person coming back to his car and seeing that.

I like this very intricate wall wood decoration that they have in there. They did a fine job picking out the decorative accessories. It reminds me of the Philippines farm life.

MY luvs and I's favorite....Roti Kanai with a delish curry sauce for dipping. It has 1/2 potato. $3.95 The gang loved it,too. But it was kinda weird for them at first but liked it at the end.

Chicken Pandan, Deep fried chicken wings wrapped in screwpine leaves (pandan leaves) truly love this chicken and the gang loved it,too. More of an appetizer. $6.95

Lady Finger Belacan....sauteed okra with spicy Malaysian shrimp paste sauce & shrimp $9.95

Thai Fried Rice $8.95....shrimp, chicken,bean sprout, basil,egg, scallion this is more for EJ.

Pad Thai...anita & Anmar ordered this but we all ate it....stir fried rice sticks with shrimps, tofu, bean sprouts and chicken, ground peanut in spicy Thai chili sauce. $8.50

What more food? Yeah, time to dig in...we were all famished!

Bye 2010,Hello 2011!!

She's finally here! Baby Jasmine Garcia born @ 8:27am, 7.9oz, 20 inches. December 15, 2010. Baby girl of Jocelyn and Javier Garcia.

....home to the Philippines to attend Dessa Mae's 18th Birthday which is a grand Debut. We, the gang made hatid to them @the SFO airport.

 

Anne's 13th Birthday

Celebrated Anne's 13th birthday...boy it was raining,lightning and thundering that night but ALL had fun on her birthday and we even got to see Jocelyn who is 7 months pregnant! The Party started from 5pm to 9pm @the Gellert Park Clubhouse in Daly city. It was so close to our town house!
