I am borrowing this idea from Laura Kurz (one of Twopeas GG's and a blogger, scrapbooker) that she features people who made a difference in her life. I will try to post every Friday different people who made a significant difference in my life and what I have learned from them. What I like about them and just things in general about them. My first post will be about DOLLACE one of my very Best Friends and cousin in-law. She also just recently had a birthday,January 20 Wednesday.
- We were related through marriage-she married my cousin, Randy (on my mom side) and they have one son, Randy JR who is 16 yrs. old now. Yes, they have a 16 yr old! I know tell me about it she looks 20 in this picture!! She looks so beautiful and vibrant.
- We both love desserts-she is my dessert and restaurant partner. When we get a chance to get together we try out different restaurants.
- We traveled together in Hawai'i, Hearst Castle and did some road trips with her husband.
- She is the one who calls on me to make sure I am still alive and kicking coz' I am so bad in returning phone calls and I really do appreciate it, Ms. Doll! Love ya!
- She loves to shop (who doesn't?)
- I learned from her to enjoy life as it comes. Love your family unconditionally. Enjoy moments with your husband. Love your nieces and nephews.
- She learned to love to take lots of pictures and scrapbook them when we get a chance.
- WE both love TEA-especially going to LOVEJOY's
- We both love reminiscing about the good 'ol days when we use to go to Florence's apartment and we sample a lot of her wonderful experiments (dishes that she cooks) and just hang out and enjoy each others company.
- Her love of travel
- Love for her hubby of 15 yrs! Wow!!
- Dedication to her work
- Pampering yourself day (spa,mani/pedi,facial)
- Enjoying the simple things
I will add more later here as I think of other wonderful things about here. I am too hungry to think right now! Sorry! Waiting for Nelson right now (who played B-ball @the gym in 24hr) who is buying our breakfast from Jollibee!
