Before attending Anmar's birthday in the afternoon we went to Jassmine's Grad/Birthday Celebration at their home. Josie is my co-worker in the VA. Boy, did she have a spread. I loved the Tokwat' Baboy and the Bopis. Her cousin from LA is the one that did all the cooking but Josie is a great cook, also. She used to own a restaurant.

Anmar's Birthday

Brentwood & Lake Del Valle
The Gang all decided to go Cherry picking and then picnic in Lake Del Valle after the cherry picking.
Cherry picking time in Brentwood, unfortunately when we got to Seko Ranch it was still closed coz' I get the cherries were not ripe yet. Too bad, though. Seko Ranch has one of the best cherries to pick with. We went next door so we can buy some yummy peaches. Anita & Mai2 loved the peaches.

California Academy of Science
Today my MOM and I went to the CA Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park. It was free admission on the third Wednesday of this month (courtesy of Wachovia, Yay!) and luckily am off for today till Friday. The usual price for admission is $24.95. After seeing all the exhibit at this awesome building I would gladly fork the $24.95 coz' it is so worth it. Next time Nelson and I will go. There were tons of people waiting....The workers there said that they will stopped at 4,000 people! Imagine that!. When my mom and I left around 1:30 pm (we were there 4 hours) there were still alot of people lining up. The food at the Academy Cafe was very good and very reasonable. My mom and I half a turkey sandwich and a Chicken Pho and chocolate bread pudding for dessert. This picture is the roof of the building,isn't it amazing? Words cannot express what I've seen. It's called the Living roof.
I love this very LIVE white alligator,cool huh?

Bonding time with my Sisters...
It was another beautiful day here in California...so Mary Ann, Raquel and I headed out to Saratoga,CA to go to our favorite Japanese Garden called Hakone Gardens. WE took tons of pics and I will share my favorites here. WE then went to the Great Mall just to shop around. I bought art supplies at the Dollar store and some playing cards to alter for scrapbooking. It's always to hang out with my sisters. We even ate at a Japanese resto called MASU. Food was delicious we all had Bento's for lunch.

Bodega Bay
This Saturday--with our travel budz' we just decided to do a road trip to Bodega Bay about an hour away here in the city--nothing to do. Jade is the one who drove along with Elaine, EJ and Nelson and me!
We ate our lunch @the Sonoma Latin Grill near Novato. The flour tortilla is SO good! I had the carne asada flat tacos...yumm!

My sweet sis, Raquel thought of me and bought me a pandan shake, peach mango pie for me. She is thoughtful naman. She always does this whenever she goes out. Near those snacks are my fave cheese curls that Cynthia had introduced me to.

These brother and sister, duo Gel and Anjo is going home to the philippines today and won't be back for at least 2 years to finish their nursing course there. I am going to miss them so much. I have gotten really close to them (they are Mae's niece/nephew) This was their christmas gift to us.

My computer and awesome inspiration journal, have been filling it up and am so happy with the contents inside!!! Bought the book in Barnes and Noble with my cuz' Doll and Flo.
My 48 Fiskars gel pen isn't this awesome!!! OMG this really is making me happy right now. I have been using these pens for my inspo journal.

Mac Pie!
found this while stumbling looks good doesn't it!
Today my bestest buds, Doll called me and ask me how was my Flea Market trip? Hey, I asked myself how did she know that? DUH! I forgot that I have this ol' blog of mine who I kinda forget sometimes. I haven't even did any journaling for that little jaunt to the flea market. Okay will have to edit that sometime tonight or maybe tomorrow coz' I am still doing laundry.
I don't really get to talk to Dollace, Florence and my lil sis Mary Ann (who are my avid readers of this blog of mine--no matter how boring it is sometimes) so they get their updates about me from this blog of mine. I guess I should update it more often. Even lil sis sometimes will say "HEY, update your blog!" Envy that lil sis of mine coz' she is still enjoying her trip in Hongkong and Macau can't wait to see her pictures but it takes her forever to show me the pictures.
So, want to take this time to THANK my lil' sis, Mary Ann, Dollace and Florence for always reading my blog and I hope my friend, Ellen is still reading this blog.
Currently I am enjoying going into Facebook and Twitter where I also get updates from about my cousins and friends even co-workers. It's so much fun. Okay gotta fold the laundry now...night y'all.
