Filipino Fiesta

We were supposed to go to the Filipino Fiesta Saturday but instead went there Sunday. All is well though. There were a lot of people and it was HOT! Elaine and I made our way around the shirts section they had some funny tee shirts.

my co-worker Josie helping out with her friends food booth. Ms. J is such a great cook herself. She treated us for our lunch!! We had palabok (it was just ok), I gave the BBQ pork to Jade and my fave was the drink, melon juice. Nelson had the pancit and sisig.
Two adorable girls, Mikayla and Aliyah. We saw them there at the Fiesta and just talk with them for awhile.

WE did not stay long we just went to the Westfield mall and just hung out and window shopped. I actually bought 4 decorative tape from Maido for scrapbooking. I bought the new dutch crunch cream puff from Beard Papa and E bought the cheesecake sticks. We ate at Jollibee before E&J went home. Of course, I had the spaghetti and so did my love and the sotanghon soup that we shared (which was good by the way)

Chillin' in Foster City

Last minute plans just to hang out with Elaine and Jade and EJ. We picked up Mica at their house to take her with us to Foster city and her parents will just go there after May's work. Before hand, Nelson and I went to the Farmer's market in Alemany Blvd. I bought 2 books from one of the vendors there. A Mary Engelbreit fairy tale book and Visual history Encylopedia (which is very interesting read) for only $17 bucks each!! I bought one tray of balut for $9. Today was also April Frances' 16th Birthday. Happy Birthday!

Foster City Arts&Wine Festival

Did I tell you that I love Foster City? YUP, I do. Eventhough we don't have any kids I would love to live in this very family oriented city. Not only that it's clean, fair weather, still close to SF, no bridge to cross, low crime. They had an Arts&Wine Festival every year. Last year, Nelson did not get to go coz' I think he had b-ball league but this year he got to go.

Eating some Hawaiian BBQ pork and of course, rice and garlic fries on the side!

The beautiful lake-where you can rent a boat to sail around the lake so you can see the condos and townhouses which dots around the lake.

Bodega Bay

This Saturday--with our travel budz' we just decided to do a road trip to Bodega Bay about an hour away here in the city--nothing to do. Jade is the one who drove along with Elaine, EJ and Nelson and me!

We ate our lunch @the Sonoma Latin Grill near Novato. The flour tortilla is SO good! I had the carne asada flat tacos...yumm!

Sprinkle ME!

After going to church @St. Mary's in Geary we proceeded to go to Foster City so we (Jade and Elaine and of course, my Nelly) just roam around in Palo Alto. We just shopped around this is such a beautiful mall becoz' they always have beautiful flowers all year round and they also have the christmas decorations up already. Nelson and Jade each bought a shirt from Lacoste w/c was on sale (w/c was good!) We ate @PF Chang's their food is delicious! We all did the $39 bucks dinner for 2. Nelly had the sweet and sour soup and I had the egg drop soup. For appetizer we had the Lettuce chicken cups (YUMMM, this is our favorite!). For the entree we just had the PF Chang's fried rice and Honey chicken. For dessert we had a cute Tiramisu (Awesome! we wanted more) and Red Velvet Cake.

Need I say more....SPRINKLES CUPCAKES are very GOOD! Each cupcake costs around $3.25 each. E and I bought 4 cupcakes between us $13. I bought the Black and White cupcake, Red Velvet (I know I love this--best yet! makes $3.25 a piece worth it), Carrot and Chocolate Marshmallow. I didn't like the Carrot flavor....We had it w/cold milk-oh boy! People were lining up outside just to get into the bakeshop plus it was only a small place lang.

North Face

WE LOVE NORTHFACE!
Elaine and Jade picked me up to go to the NorthFace Outlet in Berkeley, CA. Where was Nelson? Playing B-Ball every Saturday @9am along w/our future cousin in-law, Mark. WE got lucky becoz' they were having a 30% off sale on some of the jackets especially the fleece. Here is one that Elaine had bought. this was on sale for $47 regularly priced $72 I think.

Palo Alto

Saw this on the window while on one of our walks in Palo Alto...very true For sonja she loves Halloween which is coming up very soon My friend lainey @the Z Gallerie store which had this cute day bed Cool clocks Soba with tempura@sushi Tomo it was Umami (in japanese means delicious saw in a commercial)

Ryan Park Concert

Did I tell you that I LOVE Foster City! Yes, this city is so family oriented and it's so peaceful here. Our good friends, Elaine, EJ and Jade lives here and we love to hang out in their place. Tonight they had a free concert @Ryan Park where they usually have the July 4th fireworks. They had an awesome Motown & Soul concert. Here are some pictures....We ate Korean food, I don't know why I love Korean BBQ coz' I guess it's just darn good esp. those small dishes.
